This Wee Book combines well kent and lesser known phrases, poems and songs to give folk who might not be familiar with his work just a wee flavour of the genius that was Robert Burns. It features snippets of his hilarious wit, his gut-wrenching angst and his heartaching passion and also contains a love letter to Jean Armour, Burns’s strong and very clever wife, a truly remarkable person in her own right, as well as mention of those who featured so prominently in his life such as his teacher, his father, his literary contemporaries and of course, his ladies.
